Happy 4th of July! Happy Independence Day!
. I really do get misty eyed on Independence Day even though I'm not really celebrating it in any way. I got a bit of a lump watching them put the cornerstone in place at the World Trade Center and I'm rather ambivalent about the design. I'll watch fireworks tonight and sniff a little at all the patriotic music. I think we are such a great country. Not perfect, but then neither are we, but damn good. Better than any other country I can think of. For the rest of the day, I'll clean house and maybe go for a walk.
