Only half a day today. Such a nice way to start the weekend. Still on the chilly side, it's still in the 70s today. That's chilly for Tucson. A nice day to start the weekend with, though. It was nice riding my bike to work. One advantage of getting to work at 7:00 AM is that the real rush hour hasn't started.

In the afternoon I did a usability study for UA Info which is the University of Arizona homepage. The people who worked up the page asked me to find things to see how good and intuitive their setup was. It was pretty good. It was an interesting way to do it instead of just asking me how I liked the page. Evidently I had a problem finding some of the same things that other people had problems finding.

After that I went up the mall to get some coffee and finally found a good cutting board on sale. I don't have much working space in my kitchen so I need something big enough to fit across my since to give me more space. Not only are most that I've found too expensive but they were also too heavy. This one is thinner and therefore lighter but still solid. My old one was just shredding. I would get shreds of wood in things when I cut them up as it was so worn. I've never had that happen before with a cutting board.

When I got home I watched TV for a little and read my email but I was so tired. Finally about 5:00 PM I went to bed but just tossed and turned. Now it's 10:15 PM and I'm up. Yawning but up. I think there is something in the air that is causing my eyes to water and makes me feel sleepy and tired. I just added up how many miles I rode my bike today and it was more than I had thought since I was running around town. That probably is part of the tiredness, but usually after plenty of exercise I sleep good.

Well, I'll just have to relax a little and then try sleeping again. One nice thing about the weekend is that if I have trouble sleeping I can always sleep late. That takes some of the pressure off which seems to be part of the problem when I can't sleep. What pressure am I under now? Something I'm sure. I'll just have to figure it out.
