Richard Russo

I'm still recovering from vacation but starting to see my desk and figure out what's going on. I'm trying to catch up as LW is going on medical leave on Friday. I still have a living room with camping equipment all over it. It got laundry done but that's about it.

The Poetry Reading was a Prose Reading tonight. Richard Russo read "The Whore's Daughter" which was really good. Evidently he's est known for "Empire Falls" that he got a pulitzer for but I've never read him. I enjoyed hearing him read the story. I haven't read most of the poets in the series either but I enjoy listening to the poetry being read. I am really enjoying the readings. I went to a few in previous years but never got into them. Now I look forward to them.
