I read "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood" by Rebecca Wells. It's a great book. It's a southern, aren't we all crazy kind of book that celebrates craziness for the sake of craziness, which drives me crazy. Still it's a good book about how little we know about each other and how hard it is to find true friends. It's also about how hard it is to know what is our fault and what isn't. I'm sure there are few people who haven't misunderstood things that happened while they were children which sent their lives in entirely different ways. Everyone in the book seemed to be doing good at finding friends, though, something I haven't figured out yet. It's a book about friends, which is not my strong point (getting and/or keeping) and it made me feel left out which always leaves me feeling sad.

It was a lazy day and I hung some clothes outside to dry and read and basically got a good rest after yesterday and in preparation for another walk tomorrow, I hope. This is a nice house to relax in. I think it's partly the lovely glow from the wood floors. Well taken care of wood floors give a house a warmth that carpets just don't have.
